What is Myofascial Dry Needling?

The practice of Myofascial Dry Needling (MDN) involves the insertion of fine, solid filament needles, either deep within a trigger point or into the skin overlying the area of a trigger pointMDN is simply one of many treatment options used by massage therapists in the treatment of soft tissue disorders.

The purpose of MDN is to deactivate trigger points, thereby alleviating pain.
